China National Cotton Reserves Corporation, also known as CNCRC, is a wholly state-owned enterprise. Since its establishment in 2003, under the general requirements of scientific development concept, CNCRC has been working with full effort to deepen reform and enhance management, to work out a new state cotton reserving system, and to achieve the goals of macro regulation set by the central government. CNCRC is playing an increasingly important role in cotton market by guiding cotton producing and trading, balancing cotton price, protecting producers and feeding users. After 6 years of enormous effort, CNCRC has leaped forward and grown into an enterprise boasting dominant influence in cotton industry. The establishment and development of CNCRC have received great support and help from the State Council and other governmental departments. A lot of cotton enterprises, both domestic ones and overseas, have showed great concern about this corporation. On behalf of all employees of CNCRC, I hereby extend our sincere appreciation to them.

While faced with newly appeared situation and mission as well as challenges and opportunities, we firmly believe that under the guidance of state departments as well as the support of all our friends, we will commit ourselves to the construction and development of our corporation so as to fulfill the scientific development concept. To be more specific, CNCRC will make greater contribution to the fast and sound development of the State-owned enterprises by regulating cotton market, protecting producer’s interests, and stabilize national cotton market.
